FlowHeater GmbH has released FlowHeater Designer v. 1.2, a powerful Windows application that imports, dynamically converts, and exports data. Unlike complicated data conversion tools that require you to be - or hire - a programmer, FlowHeater Designer delivers a simple way to transfer data from one format to another. Using a simple graphical user interface to define the modifications needed to transform your data, you simply move it from place to place. By streamlining the data conversion function, FlowHeater Designer eliminates one of the major bottlenecks that cause cost- and time-overruns in many application development projects.

FlowHeater Designer can convert data between text, MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL Server, MySQL (Enterprise and Server), Oracle databases, and any ODBC data source. While moving data from one format to another, it's easy to manipulate text files, perform calculations on arithmetic fields, or adjust dates and times. You can perform if-then-else logic, consolidate data, turn a single record into multiple records, and alter the sequence of the records. Advanced users will appreciate FlowHeater Designer's support of .NET data tables. This functionality allows developers to add .NET programming into the FlowHeater Designer process. It also supports including FlowHeater Designer functionality in custom .NET programs.
