Mysql Connection problem

I want to import from cvs to mysql, I can read the cvs file but went I try to connect to mysql there is a problem. if I write the servername, user and password and test de connection is ok but went I select the database I got an error and is no posible to connect.
the error is : connection could not be established, bad handshake, the problem is the same with any of mysql databases

Hi Esteban,

In case you use an older version than 2.2.0 please try to use the current version 2.5.1. The MySQL Bad Handshake issue for MySQL version 5.5 was solved with version 2.2.0.

In case this does not solve your problem please post your used FlowHeater and also your used MySQL Server version.

yes, I update to 2.5 and works fine, the only problema I still have is I dont want to import the quotation mark "" which is in all columns. is there a way to delete with flowheater before import to database, I tried with the option "without" but nothing change

Hi Esteban,

You just have to use the option "abc".

This means

On the READ side, importing) Are in your CSV file the data enclosed by quotation marks FlowHeater removed this during the import process.

On the WRITE side, exporting) FlowHeater enclose your data with quotation marks during the export.
