UTF-8 without BOM encoding (codepage)

I’m converting text files (from .txt to .txt) and need to have an output file (WRITE) in encode ‘UTF-8 without BOM’. In the current FlowHeater, I have just UTF-8 encoding (codepage) available. How can I make sure my text output/write file is in ‘UTF-8 without BOM’? Thank you for assistance. Andrew.

I´m afraid writing of UTF files without BOM is with the current version not possible. I’ll implement this nice feature in a further version. Thanks for suggestion.

With the links below you can download a first BETA of Version 4.0.1. This version supports writing of UTF-8 without BOM (byte order mark).

To disable writing BOM you have to activate the option “Write UTF without BOM (byte order mark)" in the TextFile Adapter Configuration on the advanced tab. (see Screenshot below)

Note: It´s planned to release the official Version 4.0.1 end of November.
