When doing complex definitions with many input and output fields, it becomes quite dificult to navigate the GUI. Some suugestions from my side:
1. When selecting a input filed - clearly highlite the write field it is linked to (if linked) in the field list (not just via the line)
2. A bigger / more radical change would be to ONLY show the lines / heaters and connectors in the work area for the selected field. (as an optional thing maybe)
I tend to loose track of what goes where....as you can see from my sample screen.

Hi Heinz,
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I’ll try to implement this improvements step by step with one of a further version.
Currently you could get a bit more overview by the help of layers. With layers you can group some lines/heaters together on one separate designer page.
To move one line or heater to another layer it´s quite simple. Open the context menu over a line/heater with the right mouse button and click the menu option “Switch to a new Layer”. All involved lines and heater to the selected one will be moved to a new or certain layer.
